What is Chessmadra?

Chessmadra is a free, open-source chess training web app offering a streamlined experience for daily tactics practice, opening repertoire drilling, and game analysis. The interface is notably clean and fast, prioritizing the training activity without clutter.

The tactics section draws on puzzles from Lichess's open puzzle database, presents them in a focused solving mode, and tracks your performance over time. The opening trainer lets you add lines from PGN and drill them with spaced repetition. Game review connects to your Lichess or Chess.com account to pull recent games for analysis.

Chessmadra is entirely free and open source. It is well-suited to players who appreciate a minimalist tool that does a few things well without the feature sprawl and monetization of larger platforms.
