ChessKid is Chess.com's dedicated platform for younger players, designed from the ground up to be safe, fun, and educational for children and juniors. All communication is moderated, chat is opt-in and age-filtered, and parents can monitor accounts and activity from a separate parent dashboard.

The platform includes the full range of chess learning tools scaled for young players: interactive lessons that teach rules and basic principles, puzzles calibrated to beginner strength, games against friendly bots with adjustable difficulty, and video lessons from chess educators. Schools and coaches can create classrooms to manage groups of students, assign lessons, and track progress.
