What is FIDE Ratings?
The FIDE Ratings portal is the official source for FIDE Elo ratings, title records, and rating list history. You can search for any FIDE-registered player by name, federation, or ID number to view their current rating, title, peak rating, and full rating history going back to when they first appeared on a FIDE list.
The site publishes the official monthly rating list, which is the reference used in all FIDE-regulated tournaments for seeding and pairing. A built-in performance calculator lets you compute a player's expected rating performance from tournament results, useful for calculating title norm requirements.
The ratings portal is free and requires no registration. It is the authoritative source for official chess ratings worldwide and a necessary reference for tournament organizers, title applicants, and anyone checking the official standing of a player.
