What is Chessle?

Chessle is a daily chess puzzle game inspired by Wordle. Each day, a new challenge presents the first few moves of a real master game and asks you to guess the complete opening sequence. After each guess, the game reveals which moves are correct, which are in the right position, and which appear elsewhere in the sequence — using the familiar color-coded feedback of the Wordle format.

The game tests knowledge of common opening theory in an engaging, game-show format. Getting a Chessle in few guesses rewards players who have a broad familiarity with how real master games open. The puzzle resets daily and there is one shared puzzle per day for all players, enabling comparison and social sharing of results.

Chessle is free and requires no account. It is a fun daily ritual for chess players and a gentle way to reinforce opening pattern knowledge through play rather than study.
